Suvarnabhumi is one of the biggest international airports in Thailand and the main airport of Bangkok. It has more flights and destinations than Don Mueang Airport especially the ones that connect it to Europe. This almost always translates to more choices of flight and cheaper rates if you are inclined to fly from Europe. Suvarnabhumi Airport is relatively newer than airport Don Mueang, which opened in 2006 and it is much larger and has a more modern look to it. Facilities such as lounges, stores, restaurants, and so on are generally regarded as better.

2. Just a staff to sell ticket on-site, with less support and assist.

6. Although you purchase the ticket online in advanced, however bus cannot wait for plane delayed passengers
7. Sharing vehicle with other passengers
8. Each passenger can only bring one piece of 20kg luggage and one hand luggage at most.

With traffic like high season, festival or Thailand long weekend holiday, it can obviously take more travel time. Traffic is heavier when there are domestic tourists from Bangkok seeking a day or two by the beach. Also the bus tickets will be sold out easily, you might find yourself having to wait an hour or two for the next available seat on the day.
